It is always fun to photograph a wedding at the lake.  Today was the perfect day for a beach wedding.  We arrived at the Domes family cottage just after 9:00am. The sounds of chirping birds, lawn mowers revving and the smell of the fresh outdoors filled the air.

Kristin's parents owned a gorgeous cottage nestled on a beautiful piece of beach front property.  The water sparkled in the morning sun as their family and friends helped set the tables within the white outdoor tent.  The whole venue was decorated beautifully with hand painted crafts and ornaments made my Kristin's mom and matron of honour.

Shortly after we arrived we were greeted by Chris, the groom and their adorable dog Dozer who wore his own sequence bow tie.

At 10:30am Kristin and Chris had their "first look" upon the back deck.  It was a beautiful moment shared amongst family and friends.  

 Chris looked so handsome in his grey suite and his awesome white runners.  All the guys in the wedding party had the fancy white runners, even the little guys.

Kristin looked radiant in her dress.  I've always said she reminds me of Drew Barrymore, the Hollywood actress...but knowing Kristin she could light up any movie screen with her beauty, elegance, and true zest for life, love, and family.

I had such a great time photographing Kristin and Chris.  We started our photo shoot by coasting along the bay in their friend's Pontoon boat, then they boarded the floating raft, lay on the neighbours dock, and we ended their session with a quick sway on the beach swing.

The next part of the afternoon was spent photographing the wedding party-what a great bunch of friends.

Thank you to every one of you for helping to make this day so much fun.  I have to add how wonderful it was to work with the nieces and nephews of Kristin and Chris.  These kids were so co-operative, great listeners and fabulous models.  They had so much fun playing games with each other and stealing a few candies from the candy bar between takes...so cute!

Kristin and Chris were married on the beach surrounded by family and friends.  Our evening ended as their reception was about to begin.  The tent looked beautiful decorated with pickle jars of flowers, a yummy candy bar, and who could resist the Smore's treat for after dinner.

 Thank you Kristin and Chris for inviting us to your gorgeous wedding.  We had a wonderful time meeting your family and friends but also sharing in your perfect day.  Thank you for your patience as we "fluffed" your dress and stood you in the sun "just one more time!"
