The first wedding of the year... and I celebrated this wonderful day with such a terrific couple. This was my first Chinese inspired wedding and I had so much fun learning about past tradition but with Ket's modern flare.
The Year of the Snake!
We met Ket at her parent's house along with close family and friends to witness the traditional "tea ceremony". Ket looked gorgeous in her red gown as she posed with family for pictures. A special THANK YOU to Ket's parents for inviting us into their new home and to be a part of this unique tradition.
After the ceremony, Ket changed into her white wedding dress and we headed back to the couple's home to continue with family photos.
When Ket entered the room in her white dress the sun came through the windows and everyone just stared....Wow! Ket looked stunning. She has such a gorgeous face and amazing smile.
We ended our afternoon in the Exchange District where Ket and Ryann smiled for photos in the cold, damp, and snowy air. A huge thank you to you both... I know you were freezing but when I look at your images I can't even tell. You both have have a great connection and such a gift of making each other laugh. I love the fact that you both were so AWESOME to work with.
Ket and Ryann celebrated with family and friends in the heart of China Town. Darlene and I were spoiled with fabulous food and crazy dancing. This was such a great party!
Ket and Ryann... I wish you both a wonderful time in Mexico and many years of good health and happiness as you continue onto your next journey in life together.
